Ashley on how the thirteen weeks actually run.

You already know all of this.

You can explain exactly what you do. Why you do it. Probably where it came from. You have been able to describe it accurately for years, and it has changed nothing.

You have read the books. Maybe done the therapy, the retreat, the circle, the ceremony. You have had breakthroughs. Then you went home, and within a fortnight you were the same man doing the same things.

A life-changing experience is only life-changing if you change your life.

Understanding it is not the same as changing it. That gap is the whole work, and thirteen weeks is how long it takes.

Where it actually shows up.

Not at work. At work you are fine.

The man who can hold a room cannot hold himself when it actually counts.

It is the front door at seven o'clock. It is the look on her face when you have gone too far again. It is your kid asking you something twice.

You have understood exactly why you do it, for years. And then Thursday comes and you do it again.

What this is for

To stop being two men. The one who holds the room, and the one who cannot hold himself at seven o'clock.

To stop apologising for the same thing. To be in the house and actually in it. To have what you already understand finally reach the part of you that reacts.

That's the work. Not managing it better. Ending it.

How it runs

This isn't for you if

Twelve weeks, finished.

Chris, in his own words, at the end.

Chris, at the end of the thirteen weeks.

You just handle things completely differently now. Chris's partner, before he had told her anything had changed
It's not work in progress. It's stuff that's been integrated and I'm living it in my current life. I'm able to stay grounded in moments I normally wasn't grounded. Chris, at the end
There's never a perfect moment. It never comes. It never will come. If you feel called to reach out and get that help, just do it. Quit waiting for a perfect moment to happen. Chris, asked what he'd say to someone on the fence

Why me.

Military at seventeen. Ten years in entertainment and personal training. A world title in bodybuilding, which made me feel like enough for about a week.

I knew exactly what I was doing the entire time, and knowing it changed nothing. A month in a monastery in Chiang Mai in 2024 is where it finally came apart, because I stopped long enough to feel it.

I am not a therapist and I am not a guru in linen. I have been the man sitting where you are sitting, and I got out.

Whether this is right for you.

I take a small number of men at a time and the work is the same either way, so the only question worth asking is whether it is right for you. Book a clarity call and you will get a straight answer, either way. No pitch.
